Privacy policy
This policy explains what data the StrenaGo app (iOS, Android and web) processes when you use it to find partners, join matches and book venues, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible for your data
StrenaGo, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered under SIREN number 108 404 419, with its registered office at 33 rue de Jemmapes, Bâtiment D, 4e étage, 59800 Lille, France, is the controller of the personal data collected through the app and the www.strenago.com website.

The data we process
Depending on the features you use:
- Account: first and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, city, password (stored encrypted); if you sign in with Google or Apple, the identifier provided by that service.
- Profile: photos, sports played, level, bio and matchmaking preferences.
- Location: your device position, only if you allow it, to show nearby players, matches and venues; you can hide your presence on the map (ghost mode) or not share it.
- Content and conversations: messages, posts, comments, stories, reviews and reports.
- Activity: matches and events created or joined, bookings, tournaments, progression and rewards.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe; StrenaGo never receives or stores your full card number.
- Technical data: device notification token, device type and app version, technical logs, crash reports and app usage data.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, including verifying your email or phone (performance of the contract).
- To suggest players, matches, clubs and venues that fit your sports and area (performance of the contract).
- To let players talk to each other, book venues and pay for bookings (performance of the contract).
- To send you useful notifications: invitations, messages, booking reminders (performance of the contract; you can turn them off in settings).
- To measure app usage, fix errors and improve the app (legitimate interest).
- To prevent abuse, handle reports and meet our legal obligations, including accounting (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
What other players can see
Your public profile (first name, photos, sports, level, city) is visible to other users so they can connect with you. Your email address and phone number are never shown. You can block or report a user from their profile or a conversation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with:
- the clubs and sports venues you book with, for the information needed for your booking;
- our technical providers, acting on our behalf: hosting and file storage, payments (Stripe), verification emails and SMS (Twilio), notifications and analytics (Google Firebase), error tracking (Sentry), maps and place search (Google Maps), sign-in (Google, Apple);
- public authorities, when the law requires it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymised, except for data the law requires us to keep longer (for example payment records).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@strenago.com.
You can delete your account directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Data and permissions → Delete my account.
You can withdraw access to your location or notifications at any time in your phone settings.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority.
Minors
In France, a minor under 15 may only sign up with the consent of a holder of parental authority.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS) and passwords are stored encrypted. Access to data is limited to the people who need it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page; if we make a significant change, we will let you know in the app.
